This image is a Soviet propaganda poster depicting working-class figures under the communist symbols of the hammer, sickle, and red star. The artistic style is known as Constructivism, a Russian avant-garde movement that developed after the Russian Revolution.
It’s a tribute to the workers, peasants, and intellectuals of the Soviet Union and the style has a geometric and austere graphic design typical of Soviet propaganda art.
