French Fashions – Spring 1883

The topmost tier has sections arranged with a diagonal effect. The overskirt is elaborately draped into triangular sections with multiple groups of tassels on the points, and at the center front, some with rosettes matching the sleeves. She is wearing tan long gloves. Her bonnet is grey with ruffles and bows and is decorated with red flowers or ruffles, and tied under her chin with a matching grey ribbon.
