Morning Dress – Winter 1821

A woman in a morning dress from 1821. She is wearing a long white dress with long sleeves. Her sleeves are loose around her arms and she wears white gloves. She wears a green cape edged and lined with light pink. The cape is fastened in front around her shoulders. The cape has a double collar, a narrow one over a wider one, which are folded down to expose her neck. The cape is fastened at the center front of the larger collar. She wears green shoes and a small white cap or bonnet. She sits in a chair facing left with her legs crossed and her hands folded in her lap.
