Historical 1884 Garcia Cubas Map of Zacatecas State

This antique color lithograph illustrates the central Mexican state of Zacatecas in the late nineteenth century. Featured in the iconic Atlas Mexicano by Antonio García Cubas, the cartographic document displays the various regional municipalities and mining districts highlighted in distinct hand-colored pink, green, and brown tones.

Cartographic Topography and Neighboring Mexican Borders

The vintage document details the rugged semi-arid topography and mountain ranges characteristic of the region. It includes a structured reference legend in the lower right corner, illustrates borders with neighboring states like Jalisco and San Luis Potosí, and features an official Library of Congress stamp in the lower margin.
