A woman wears a pale yellow empire waist dress with elbow-length sleeves and ankle-length skirts. She wears a pink and white checked kerchief around her shoulders and tucked into her long, white apron. She wears white stockings and flat, black pointed shoes. Her left foot points toward the viewer. The woman has gold teardrop earrings and a white bonnet or mobcap. She carries a tall, thin lantern-shaped woven basket with two red balls at its base. She stands on cobblestones.
