This antique map displays the Mexican state of Tamaulipas as published in 1886 by cartographer Antonio Garcia Cubas. The lithograph features detailed geographic divisions, early railway lines, and regional roads that connected key towns during the late 19th century.
Map Details and Coastal Insets
The document includes a specialized coastal inset of the Port of Tampico in the lower right corner next to a symbol legend. Longitude lines on this colored chart are measured from the Mexico City meridian rather than Greenwich.
