Notre-Dame de Paris is one of the most famous Gothic cathedrals in the world, located on the Île de la Cité in the heart of Paris. Built between the 12th and 14th centuries, it is admired for its stunning architecture, detailed sculptures, and beautiful stained-glass windows.
The cathedral has witnessed many important events in French history, including royal ceremonies and Napoleon’s coronation. Although it was damaged by a fire in 2019, restoration efforts continue to preserve this symbol of French culture and faith for future generations.
