Historical 1784 Chart of the North Pacific and Bering Strait
This rare antique map features an important late eighteenth-century chart titled A Chart of the NW Coast of America and NE Coast of Asia. Published in English, the document reflects the groundbreaking maritime discoveries made during early Pacific voyages, offering a detailed look at the geographic connections between the two continents.
Early Cartographic Survey of Alaska and the Catherine Archipelago
The vintage chart illustrates the expansive coastlines of the Bering Sea, the Kamchatka Peninsula, and the Alaskan peninsula with the Aleutian Islands, labeled here as Catherines Archipelago. It shows river networks in Siberia, early tribal territories, and contains an official Library of Congress stamp in the lower corner.
