This watercolor depicts a woman displaying an outfit that is a picturesque combination of historic styles from the early 1800s with early 1900 styles. She wears long greenish-grey gloves. Her black hat is wide brimmed and has a black feather plume, and she wears her hair in gentle waves and curls, held back with a black bow at the neck.
